Upon adoption of the 2017 Municipal Budget, Town Council has reviewed its rental rates, terms and conditions that were currently in place with regards to the rental of the municipal building. Due to the increase in the operating cost associated with heating and lighting for the municipal building (particularlly the auditorium area), council has decided to set the rental rate of the Municipal Building to $75.00. This new rate applies to all types of rentals, including birthday and other parties, bridal/baby showers and weddings.
In addition to the change is price of the rental, Town Council has now made it a policy that all rentees sign a “Municipal Building Rental Agreement” (CLICK HERE for a copy of the agreement), which outlines all of the terms and conditions of renting the Municipal Building. We would like to note that all rentees will be responsible to pay a $50.00 damage deposit up front, prior to recieving the keys for the building. Pending that there are not any damages to the building or the Town’s equipment or loss of Town property, the $50.00 damage deposit will be credited towards the rental fee. The rental fee must be paid in full upon returning the key to the Town Office.
